FAQ

Product Related

1. Which scented candles are safe?
All of our scented candles are safe.

2. Does the product contain phthalates?
Our candles do not contain phthalates. Phthalates are typically used in personal care products to prevent the growth of bacteria and mold on the body.

3. How should candles be stored?
The wax and essential oils we use in our candles are sensitive to temperature and light, so please handle them with care during long-term storage. If storing candles, ensure they are kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or strong light. Placing them in a dark place such as a cabinet or box can prevent fading and discoloration. Since our candles are sensitive to extreme cold and heat, it's best to store them between 50°F to 85°F. Avoid leaving our candles in a car for an extended period, especially on hot days, as they may melt or discolor. Extreme cold may cause cracking and separation. After prolonged exposure to low temperatures, allow the candles to return to room temperature for at least 2 hours before unpacking or burning.

4. What wax do you use for your candles?
We use various wax bases including soy, beeswax, coconut, and paraffin wax.

5. Are your fragrances natural or synthetic?
Our candles contain a blend of natural essential oils and synthetic ingredients to ensure clean burning and superior fragrance. We prioritize the use of natural ingredients whenever feasible and available.

6. Do your wicks contain lead?
No - we do not use wicks containing lead.

Safety and Burning

We want you to experience the utmost enjoyment and pleasure from our candles. We take pride in using only the finest ingredients and materials to craft them. However, burning candles responsibly to ensure their safe use is crucial. Please follow these guidelines to make candles a bright and beautiful part of your life.
• Remove all packaging before lighting.
• Place on a protected, heat-resistant, dry surface away from anything that can catch fire and out of reach of children and pets. Use holders designed for specific candle styles.
• Trim wick to the length indicated on the bottom label of the candle before each lighting.
• If smoking occurs, check for drafts or busy areas that may cause flickering and smoking. Also, ensure the wick is trimmed to the length indicated on the bottom label of the candle. If longer, extinguish, trim the wick, then relight.
• Ensure no wick trimmings, matches, or any flammable materials are in the wax pool. Keep wick centered.
• Avoid burning candles in drafts.
• Never leave burning candles unattended. Always keep them within sight.
• Keep all matches and lighters out of the reach of children.
• Educate everyone in the household on the rules for safe candle use.

Candles in Glass Containers

• Handle glass containers with care. Avoid glass-to-glass contact when removing or replacing lids. Do not use if jar has cracks, chips, or scratches. Do not refill with wax.
• Keep flames away from the sides of the jar. The jar may become hot. Handle with care.
• If smoking occurs, check for drafts or busy areas that may cause flickering and smoking. Also, ensure the wick is trimmed to the length indicated on the bottom label of the candle. If longer, extinguish, trim the wick, then relight.
• To minimize leftover wax on the sides of the jar, burn the candle for 4 hours at a time. Some wax left on the sides is normal. Content may vary due to color, scent, and burning conditions.
• Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains at the bottom to prevent potential heat damage to surfaces. Burn only on appropriate holders, plates, or other heat-resistant surfaces.
Extinguish candles carefully and completely before replacing the lid. We recommend using a snuffer.

Tealight Candles

• Do not burn in enclosed spaces such as plant pots. Instead, use unscented tealights and ensure good ventilation.
• If wick smokes or carbon accumulates, extinguish flame and clear carbon before relighting.

Wish Candles
• Burn only in appropriate holders. Do not burn free-standing.
